No Jukebox and I only caught non event fish. The key is the Silver coins as you need to play the jukeboxes in order to catch the Gobies etc. I have just completed the Christmas mission and I had to invest money in the game for the first time ever in order to do it. Am I missing something, Is this the only option or are there other ways to open to Santa Bags/ boxes or get the Santa light hat?
I will be amazed if I can complete it before running out of stuff and then I am back where I am started and needing to spend bait coins again. The first event you need to catch a large number of 3 specific fish but frustratingly you catch other fish on the bait as well. With one of the packs you get 25 coins that can be used in the dukeboxes that plays music and helps you catch the xmas event fish. So I invested 148 for two event packs and I have started the event. To do that you need to complete the first mission and I did not see any other way of doing it without spending bait coins.
Was looking forward to it this year but now it seems you cannot get any free stuff from the Santa Bags or boxes until you unlock the Santa light hat. Last year I played the Christmas Event and was having fun catching the Furry Trout and Antler Salmon although kept running out of fireworks.
